Hey Liam! Unfortunately, registration for JAMHacks V is based on our Typeform signups, not Devpost registration. As such, we cannot accept late applicants at this time. However, JAMHacks V is offering a special opportunity—you can become an unofficial participant with the following conditions:

    1. You will be granted access to the JAMHacks Discord server. You will be able to participate in workshops and activities.
    2. You will not be able to receive swag. You will not be able to live pitch or submit a project during the event.
    3. If you choose to unofficially help a registered team, you will not be able to have your name on their submitted Devpost project. You will not be live pitching with them, either. If they win a prize, the number of prizes will not include you as a team member—however, after the hackathon, you and your team are free to split the prizes as you wish.

If you agree to the clauses above and wish to participate unofficially, please let me know and we can send you a Discord invite link. My apologies for the inconvenience!

Why am I not able to? I was just unable to access the Typeform because I am on a school-provided computer and it was blocked.

    Hello, Liam

We are very sorry, but we cannot make an exception in this case. Unfortunately, since you did not sign up on the Typeform we cannot verify you as an official participant. As Qianxu has detailed above, you may still participate unofficially.

However, we do welcome you to participate in JAMHacks next year!

    Thanks,
    Fred

That was not my question I just want to know why the Typeform is so important and why you cannot verify me as an official participant?

Typeform is our official method of registration, not Devpost. In fact, we have not marketed our Devpost link anywhere other than in our Discord server and emails to existing hackers—it is solely a platform to facilitate project submissions at the end of the hackathon and does not confirm your registration in the event in any way.

    My apologies!

No problem Liam! We'd love to see you at our event next year—I encourage you to sign up for the newsletter on our website to be notified as soon as registration opens for 2022 :)
